Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to common questions about our IV therapy services. Please contact us if you have any other questions.

What is IV therapy?

IV (intravenous) therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream for fast absorption and rapid effect compared to oral supplements.

How long does a session take?

A typical IV therapy session lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the specific treatment and individual needs.

How quickly can you come to me for treatment?

We can generally respond same-day, often within an hour depending on the treatment, our availability and your location.

Can I come to your location for treatment?

We are a mobile IV therapy service, which means we come to you! Whether you're at home, work, or an event, we provide convenient and comfortable treatments wherever you are.

Are there group discounts?

We offer group discounts for parties of 2 or more. Please contact us for more details and to schedule your group session.

Is IV therapy safe?

Yes, IV therapy is safe when administered by our trained healthcare professionals. We follow strict protocols to ensure your safety and comfort during the treatment.

Are there any side effects?

Some individuals may experience mild side effects such as bruising at the injection site, skin irritation, or lightheadedness. Allergic reactions to certain treatments are possible, and in rare cases can be severe or life-threatening. In some cases, irritation of the vein may occur, a condition called thrombophlebitis. Serious side effects are rare but can occur; our medical director will discuss specific adverse effects with you prior to therapy. Please inform us of any allergies or medical conditions prior to treatment.

Who administers the IV therapy?

All IV therapy treatments are administered by a licensed registered nurse (RN) under the supervision of our medical director.

Will I be charged for the MD consult?

No, the medical director consult is provided at no charge prior to your infusion. If you decline IV therapy during the consult or are determined to not qualify for IV therapy, you will not be charged for the consult.

How often can I receive IV therapy?

The frequency of IV therapy sessions depends on your individual needs and the treatment provided. Generally, you cannot safely exceed twice-weekly treatments. Some people benefit from weekly treatments, while others may only need occasional sessions. Contact us to get a free consult from our medical director to determine the best plan for you.

Do I need a prescription for IV therapy?

In Wisconsin, IV therapy products are classified as medications and require an evaluation and order from a licensed healthcare provider. Our medical director will evaluate your health and provide the necessary orders for your treatment.

Can I customize my IV therapy treatment?

Yes, we offer a variety of IV therapy options that can be tailored to your specific health goals, such as hydration, energy boost, immune support, and more. Our healthcare professionals will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan.

What areas do you serve?

We come to you! Our mobile IV therapy service is available in the greater Milwaukee area, including Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine, and Kenosha counties.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance for IV therapy treatments. Payment is required at the time of service.

What if I have Medicare or Medicaid?

Unfortunately, due to CMS regulations, we are unable to accept Medicare or Medicaid patients for IV therapy treatments, even if paying cash.
